Don Demcsak is a DevOps and Cloud Native Modernization Solution Partner for Dell EMC based out of New Jersey. A passionate software engineer, his focus is on helping enterprises learn to continuously improve their people, processes and tools to leverage the latest modern, agile and lean principles. His current interests lie in helping enterprises get visibility into the complete lifecycle of any IT change (Application, Infrastructure, Data and Compliance/Governance), from inception to production. He also enjoys helping infrastructure and operations team members leverage software development life cycle skills when taking advantage of Infrastructure as Code techniques. The combination of experience with, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare vRealize and RedHat Open Shift is leveraged to help customers with their multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud strategies.
He is a former, long time (9 year) Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, specializing in building and architecting Application Delivery Pipelines for hybrid legacy, and cloud native applications. He has a long history with the .Net, ASP.Net, Visual Studio and Azure communities and product teams. He was also part of the first team within EMC & VMWare to try to port the original Cloud Foundry to run on Windows.
