Her goal is to create new perceptions of risk and security as business-enablers through culture-shift, automation, collaborative practices and measurable results. Ms. Ruck brings 20 years of experience managing complex programs, leading the assessment and design of IT security and enterprise risk and compliance programs, and implementing data protection and privacy frameworks.
Prior to joining EMC, Ms. Ruck held leadership positions in world-class research and consulting firms and within industry, where she developed and delivered services to clients in federal and state civilian agencies, defense and intelligence agencies, and the financial services and healthcare industries. She has been certified in information security and privacy; systems auditing; governance, risk and compliance software implementation; and project management and maintains an active DoD security clearance.
