Technology in, and of, itself does not drive business value. This “lost tribe” (love it) was often a second thought in the IT decisions of the past. By combining the consumer along with the developer and the designer you will deliver the business outcome they desire, in a stable and accelerated manner, and be able to leverage the efficiency and power of a cloud platform to provide it.

Comment on Digitization in the Interests of Human Potential by Chris Gaudlip https://infocus.dellemc.com/chris_gaudlip/digitization-in-the-interests-of-human-potential/#comment-2518 Thu, 24 May 2018 11:50:02 +0000 https://infocus.dellemc.com/?p=35361#comment-2518 Absolutely.

I believe ‘in the past’ the human mind was ahead of our compute potential. However, recently we are witnessing the reverse. The compute potential with artificial intelligence, robotic process automation and machine learning is now outpacing our minds. Traditional thinking is now the throttle or as I say the barrier. I always mention that we tend to think narrowly or limited and we can now expand to a much higher potential since our machines have reached a point where they have outpaced our ability to realize potential.

It is a pivotal time in our lives as computers have just become a new generation of minds.

Comment on Don’t Forget the Crucial “Last Kilometre” When Planning for GDPR by Stéphane Reboud https://infocus.dellemc.com/stephane_reboud/dont-forget-the-crucial-last-kilometre-when-planning-for-gdpr/#comment-2510 Mon, 21 May 2018 16:16:16 +0000 https://infocus.dellemc.com/?p=35272#comment-2510 Good question…indeed the onus with GDPR is on the data owner and as such the data owner needs to take proactive steps either to retain their hardware or to work with Dell to ensure sanitisation or destruction. We can help you retire excess hardware while meeting local regulatory guidelines, protecting sensitive data, and acting in an environmentally responsible way. We help protect sensitive data by removing tags and labels from equipment. We can also sanitise all devices received in alignment with NIST SP 800-88 standard, or in the case of non-functional devices, we physically destroy the drives to prevent data recovery.

Proud to have been a part of the team with @DellEMC delivering excellent results to @Tyson. @BindTuning is clearly building the tools to allow enterprises like @Tyson to adopt leading cloud-based technologies #Office365.
